At Lakeshore, we create innovative learning materials and world-class guest experiences for teachers, parents and children. Since 1954, we’ve grown into a global community—with a thriving e-commerce business, multiple catalogs, 60 retail stores, a peerless national sales force, plus international offices that support our preeminent supply chain division. But today we’re working better, smarter and faster than ever—and setting our sights even higher. We’re building an infrastructure designed for scalability, embracing data-driven decision-making and using technology to improve efficiency and ensure the best tools for the best work. Most importantly, we continue to invest in a diverse team of inquisitive top talent who fuel each other’s passions and curiosity, take risks, try new things, and believe that every new day brings opportunities for growth.

Job Description

Lakeshore’s eCommerce team is growing, and we’re looking for a self-starting Digital Content Specialist to help maintain and enhance our company website! Our flagship website is more than just a shopping destination—it’s a robust resource with hundreds of dynamic pages. In this key role, you’ll create and edit content using HTML/CSS within our preferred CMS (Oracle/ATG Experience Manager). No coding or web design required, but an eagle eye for detail and strong organizational skills are essential. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment is a must.

A day on the job looks like this:

  • Strategically implementing content enhancements using our preferred CMS (Oracle/ATG Experience Manager), including standard CMS features and HTML/CSS as needed. Setup will include user segments, A/B testing and analytics tracking parameters
  • Setting up quality assurance for all website content
  • Partnering closely with the development team to set up, test and document training for new site features
  • Supporting and troubleshooting content/system issues

Qualifications

Got the skills and experience? Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 6+ years in a similar role (10+ preferred)
  • 5+ years working with Oracle/ATG Experience Manager or a comparable CMS
  • 2+ years using HTML and CSS within a standard CMS
  • 2+ years working with responsive design
  • 3+ years of experience with Adobe Photoshop
  • 3+ years using Figma or a similar design system
  • 3+ years working with Scene7 or a similar asset management system
  • 2+ years using Adobe Workfront or a similar project management tool
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines with minimal errors
  • Positive, high-energy attitude and a collaborative mindset
