The following position is to join our RTX Process and Systems Transformation (PST) position:

RTX has an opening for a Associate Director, SAP Integration Lead (Associate Director, Business Systems and Transformation) role.

Under the leadership of the OneRTX: Process & Systems Transformation team, the SAP Integration Lead is responsible for building and expanding the integration platforms that will enable RTX’s evolution of ERP, built on applications such as SAP BTP Integration Suite, S4/Hana, GTS, BW4HANA, GRC and Ariba.

  • Team with edge application owners to drive SAP integration strategies for RTX’s multiple, complex SAP landscapes, both on-prem and cloud-based.
  • Interact with IT Management & Staff, Project Managers, key Functional SME’s & developers to ensure the project’s integration strategy is followed and evolved.
  • Go-to resource critical to our new SAP integration project work.

What You Will Do:

  • Design and implement integration projects across a complex SAP environment (S/4 HANA, SAP ECC, BW-HANA, GTS, CRM, SRM, PI, SLT, BCS, Fiori, Solution Manager, GRC, MDG, Ariba etc) supporting the OneRTX: Process & Systems Transformation ERP Strategy
  • Serve as the Integration Lead, architecting and designing integration solutions between SAP S/4HANA and various edge systems using SAP BTP-IS and other Integration tools in the RTX portfolio
  • Define platform standards and operating procedures (naming conventions, documentation templates, coding, testing standards, …)
  • Create reusable constructs, guides and operating procedures to maximize the platform utilization and improve build and unit test efficiency
  • Guide the delivery teams on detailed development tasks and ensures consistency across multiple partners and platforms
  • Ensure standards are followed and quality objectives are met.
  • Define roadmap for integration platform(s) in scope
  • Ensure platform is secured according to Infosec standards.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute development activities based on edge systems’ capabilities and availability. Ensure that all integration needs are met and align with business requirements.
  • Manage multiple deliverable objects, ensuring timely delivery and quality output
  • Drive meetings with client teams, edge system owners, and developers to ensure clear understanding of requirements, progress tracking, and issue resolution.
  • Stay abreast of the latest SAP software, integration innovations and best practices; able to adapt quickly as RTX implements the latest SAP technology.
  • Design, build and deployment of new integration platforms and/or the continuous improvement of existing ones
  • Manage integration developers assigned to work within BTP IS platform
  • Travel up to 25% domestically

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Minimum of 12+ years’ hands-on experience in SAP specifically around SAP Technical Integration & Architecture / Middleware Technologies like SAP PI/PO, ABAP Development & Support and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree; Advanced degree and 10+ years. related work experience.
  • Experience as an Integration Lead, with the ability to architect and design integration solutions between SAP S/4HANA and multiple edge systems using BTP-IS tools.
  • Multiple complete life cycle SAP implementations
  • Strong experience in planning, coordinating, and executing integration developments across multiple systems and teams
  • Strong understanding of Implementation/Technical enhancements (RICEFW ), hands on Interfaces development and support experience – Data Integration, Integration Flow, OData Services, Value Mapping, EDI/ALE, Messaging Protocols; creation of technical specs, unit testing, debugging, defect resolution
  • Current U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Proven experience in technical platform architecture, design and deployment
  • Familiarity/experience with successfully meeting corporate audit requirements including Sarbanes-Oxley, general computing controls, and access controls
  • Knowledge of SAP BTP-IS tools such as Open Connectors, API Management, Event Mesh, Trading Partner Management, Integration Assessment, Integration Advisor, Cloud Integration
  • SAP S4/HANA experience and with SAP Cloud Connector
  • Understanding of ABAP programming language, Java, XML, JSON
  • Ability to Travel up to 25%

The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD – 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
