The role
This is a full-time remote role, schedule is Monday to Friday, 9AM–5PM US Eastern Time.
As a Care Operations Associate, you’ll be at the heart of our care coordination efforts, ensuring patient records and medical documentation are managed with precision and empathy. Acting as a key liaison between families, healthcare providers, and hospitals, you’ll facilitate timely communication and document retrieval to support seamless care delivery. This role demands a sharp eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a deep commitment to confidentiality, compliance, and compassionate service
Key Responsibilities
- Manage patient documents and ensure timely, accurate distribution of medical records.
- Serve as the primary contact for communication with healthcare providers, hospitals, and medical facilities.
- Request and follow up on medical records, diagnostic reports, and imaging studies via calls and emails.
- Support families in scheduling visits and coordinating care delivery processes.
- Build meaningful relationships with parents as part of the support team.
- Collaborate with internal teams and departments to ensure a seamless AbbyCare experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, healthcare administration, medical records management, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 2+ year experience in administrative or operations roles (e.g., Care Delivery Administrator, Operations Specialist, Care Coordinator).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and solve problems creatively.
- Commitment to going above and beyond for families.
- Comfortable with dynamic responsibilities and cross-functional support.
- Proficient in CRM platforms such as Salesforce, with hands-on experience navigating Google Drive and other cloud-based tools for document management and communication
