Job Summary

As a Central Estimating Team Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a remote team that focuses on providing accurate and timely estimates for clients. You will work closely with the estimating team and other stakeholders to ensure that all aspects of the estimating process are handled smoothly and efficiently. Other qualifications and responsibilities might arise as deemed necessary by circumstances. The CET Specialist must be flexible and some weekend work will be required on a rotating schedule.

This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who enjoys solving complex problems in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable with oversight of remote employees.

Responsibilities

  • Manage assignments to a remote team of estimators including qualifying incoming assignments, assigning to the team, and monitoring team performance.
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or issues and work with the estimating team to resolve issues.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regional offices.
  • Serve as point of contact for any issues or concerns.
  • Anticipate possible issues in meeting deadlines, and troubleshoot immediately by using proper communication and policies.
  • Quality review of estimate returns to ensure they meet CET standards.
  • Perform regular system checks to ensure CET data is uniform.
  • This position may require some travel at various times.
  • This position must be willing to work off hours, weekends and holidays, as called upon.
  • Participate in continued education and training.
  • Assist management as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Technical Skills: Experience with Managed Repair Programs and carrier requirements for contractors. Ability to understand blueprints/plans and building code is a plus

Communication Skills — Ability to work well with a team, lead, and take direction. Self-starting problem solver. Custom service Orientation. Excellent communication and negation skills. Experience negotiating projects in a claim’s environment is preferred. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

Work Environment: This is a remote position. Some travel may be required for this position. This position requires work on the weekends/holidays/after hours on a rotating schedule as needed. Physical Demands: Must be able to sit for long periods of time and work at a computer.

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2-4 years of Restoration/Construction industry experience.
  • Knowledge of Xactimate and Symbility estimating platforms, some estimating skill is a plus.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications Strong organization skills and attention to detail is a must. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals. Proficient with project management software and other tools used in the estimating process. Xactimate and CoreLogic/Claims Connect/MobileClaims software knowledge preferred. Construction industry experience preferred. IICRC Water Restoration certification and EPA LEAD RRP) Renovation, Repair and Painting certification is a plus. Must be legally eligible to work in the United States. Bilingual English/Spanish is encouraged, but not required.
