Work with our Largest, Most Strategic Accounts

As a Cloud Sales Executive, you will take ownership of selling our Cloud products to prospects across specific EMEA regions. You will be responsible for the full cycle of sales activities from lead generation to deal closure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams internally to help identify opportunities for growth and development.

You will be responsible for:

  • Building a strategic and operational plan to accelerate Cloud revenue across assigned territories
  • Meeting bookings and revenue growth quota within your territories to meet and exceed forecasts
  • Fostering long term and solid relationships through understanding customer needs and being an effective advocate within Akamai
  • Maintaining sales pipeline, accurate monthly and quarterly forecast to increase visibility of prospects
  • Working with integrated cross-functional teams to ensure customer’s requirements are successfully delivered

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have relevant sales experience and a Bachelor’s in a Business, or a Technical discipline
  • Have experience selling enterprise software, Cloud, SaaS, and internet-based technology solutions to complex organizations
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of Cloud and AI technologies
  • Demonstrate experience of account management with short term and long term planning selling into strategic accounts
  • Have experience working in a collaborative, results-oriented environment and building executive level relationships with high-level customers
  • Have good written and verbal communication skills in English
