Customer Service Specialist (Danish and Swedish Speaking)

Hill’s Pet Nutrition Nordics

Based in our office in Nordhavn, Denmark (4 days per week)

Are you passionate about pets? Do you enjoy helping customers and consumers make the right decisions about pet nutrition, while being flexible enough to perform additional sales-support related activities? Are you comfortable switching between multiple systems and tasks throughout the day? If so, we offer a challenging and rewarding role in our Nordic Customer Service team. We are part of an international FMCG company with plenty of scope to learn and grow within a strong team. We welcome motivated and intellectually curious individuals who are fluent in Danish and proficient in Swedish to apply for this engaging role.

What you will do

  • Serve as the first point of contact, expertly resolving product and nutrition-related inquiries from customers and consumers via phone, email, and virtual meetings

  • Assist with order entry, follow up and complaint resolution via phone and email

  • Proactively assist customers and the Field Sales team with our digital tools, including the new Retail Order Webshop, and support our growing online presence across various platforms

  • Answer customer and consumer questions about our products and basic pet nutrition via phone or email, or in collaboration with our social media partners

  • Partner with the Field Sales, Marketing and Professional Veterinary Affairs on ad hoc projects and the newly launched Retail order shop

  • Continuously identify and suggest improvements to our current customer service processes to enhance efficiency and elevate the overall customer experience

  • Help with customer service team training on our products

  • Communicate with our customers/wholesalers concerning new products, promotions and other relevant information

What you will bring to the team

  • Fluent in Danish

  • Strong proficiency in Swedish and English

  • Customer service experience

  • Effective & accurate Communicator; both oral and written

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, customer centric customer service environment 

  • Proficiency in computer systems (SAP or similar software) and Excel

  • Proactive, results-oriented team player

  • Good at multitasking

  • Experience working in the veterinary industry would be an advantage

Where you will work

The job we offer is a full time position. The location of the customer service team is in our office in Nordhavn, Denmark. The position operates under a standard hybrid schedule with the expectation of four days (Monday – Thursday) on-site and one day (Friday) remote per week.
