This role is an Australia-based, fully work-from-home position, with access to co-working spaces in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

Job Description

The Digital Copywriter is a key contributor to Montu’s fast-paced, high-performing B2C Marketing team. This role is responsible for producing persuasive, user-first digital content that converts, with a strong focus on social media, performance marketing, and website copy. We’re looking for a strategic, conceptual thinker who blends creativity with conversion thinking, is fluent in UX writing principles, and knows how to reduce cognitive load while delivering compelling brand messages.

Performance + Website Copy 

  • Write high-converting copy for performance campaigns across Meta, Google Ads, Tiktok, Youtube, and emerging channels. 
  • Own the creation of website copy and landing page content with a focus on user experience, conversion rate optimisation (CRO), and clarity. 
  • Run A/B and multivariate tests on messaging, iterating based on performance data. 
  • Collaborate closely with product, growth, performance marketing, design and lifecycle teams to ensure a cohesive and effective user journey. 
  • Craft persuasive, benefit-led product copy that brings new innovations to life while capturing key USPs and technical details.
  • Create in-depth, long-form and well-researched content that will help achieve organic visibility.

Brand Content + Strategy

  • Develop consistent, on-brand messaging across marketing touchpoints including website, blogs, emails, social media, and internal materials. 
  • Concepting for social campaigns and web content across our B2C brands
  • Synthesise real patient insights (interviews, reviews, research) to shape persuasive, patient-first messaging to be leveraged across all channels and mediums.
  • Support brand campaigns, product launches, and company announcements with creative copy that elevates perception and drives action. 

Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Deliver on individual and set departmental OKR and KPI’s as determined from time to time.
  • Conversion rate improvements from landing page copy changes 
  • Increase in click through rate (CTR) from paid ads 
  • Organic traffic uplift from long-form SEO content 

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years experience writing digital-first, conversion focused copy, preferably in an agency. 
  • Experience working in a health, or other regulated environment would be highly beneficial.
  • Proven experience crafting UX copy that reduces the cognitive load and improves user journeys. 
  • A portfolio that demonstrates strength across short and long form ad copy, social, eDMs & website
  • Experience creating copy for performance campaigns, eDMs, social media, and websites. 
  • Creativity and storytelling prowess, adaptable to different tones and styles.
  • Deep understanding of content performance metrics and testing frameworks.
