This is your chance to be part of our F&B Operations team that oversees the daily functions of our Americas hotel properties and diverse brands portfolio! As the Director of F&B Development, you will support the team in ensuring our guests receive hospitality experience, F&B concepts, and that we remain the F&B leader in our industry. On the F&B Operations team reporting to the SVP, F&B Operations Americas, you will evolve existing restaurant and bar operations, lead concept development for new restaurants and bars, support the on-site implementation and openings process for both branded and bespoke F&B initiatives, and manage our in-house growing portfolio of ready-to-use restaurant concept brands under STiR Collective.

What your day-to-day will be like:

  • Lead the creation of original restaurant and bar concepts for new hotel developments, conversions, and renovations across Full-Service, Lifestyle and Luxury Brands in the Americas.
  • Present concept packages to Hotel Owners and internal stakeholders for approval.
  • Collaborate with Culinary and Operations teams to consult on kitchen and back-of-house design, ensuring understanding of the proposed concept.
  • Analyze market trends and future projections to develop, contemporary food and beverage concepts.

How you will collaborate with others:

  • Partner with other teams including Culinary, Operations, Design, Legal, and Finance to ensure concepts are viable and aligned with Hilton standards.
  • Engage with external consultants (e.g., foodservice designers, branding experts) and third-party restaurant partners to support concept development.
  • You will manage a Team of two direct reports (2 Senior Managers)

What Projects you will take ownership of:

  • Oversee the development and evolution of a portfolio of six scalable turnkey restaurant concepts, from brainstorming through launch and performance evaluation.
  • Manage the repository of brand assets and pre-approved consultant lists to support, high-quality concept execution across projects.

WHY YOU’LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Eight (8) years of progressive experience in Food & Beverage concept development and operations
  • Four (4) years of operational experience
  • Four (4) years of experience in project management
  • Four (4) years of leadership experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of restaurant financials and operational metrics.
  • Up to 50% travel
  • Reside within a 30-mile radius of a major commercial airport that offers domestic and international flights

It would be useful if you have:

  • Previous experience working with third-party restaurant/chef relationships
  • Intermediate in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Academic background in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, Design, Marketing, or Business Administration
  • Proficiency in a second language such as Spanish or Portuguese
