We develop proprietary software that learns and adjusts to the habits of each person as it delivers immersive content that guides them on their own individual fitness journey.

 

We are currently seeking an ambitious pace-setter to join our team as an Engineering Manager (iOS & Android) remotely or in Logan, UT.

 

ROLE COMMITMENTS

  • Lead and support a cross-platform mobile team, delivering high-quality features for connected fitness experiences on Android (Kotlin) and iOS (Swift)
  • Ensure consistent, reliable app performance through strong engineering practices, including test coverage, CI/CD, and platform-specific optimization
  • Foster team growth and ownership, providing coaching, feedback, and career development for mobile engineers at all levels
  • Drive alignment with product, design, and backend teams to scope, prioritize, and deliver work that meets user and business needs
  • Stay ahead of platform changes and device integration needs, guiding the team through OS updates, wearable support, and BLE connectivity challenges

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage a team of mobile developers, providing mentorship, coaching, and career development
  • Lead the agile development process at the squad level, working with stakeholders  to plan and prioritize work, and ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of features
  •  Collaborate closely with the Technical Program Manager and Director of Mobile Engineering to plan and execute large scale, long term initiatives and technical strategy
  • Participate in the technical design and implementation of mobile applications and frameworks as necessary
  • Work with other engineering leaders to define and enforce consistent development practices and standards across the mobile development organization

Qualifications

Education and Basic Qualifications 

  • At least 5 years of experience in mobile development, with at least 2 years of experience in a team leadership role
  • Strong understanding of agile development methodologies and experience managing development teams using agile methodologies
  • At least 2 years experience in native iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, and/or watchOS development
  • Strong people management skills, with a focus on mentorship, coaching, and career development
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
