Role Description

Summary

The primary responsibility for this position is to Manage the Improvac Education and Training Process for Zoetis Nordics(primarily Denmark). This will be accomplished through execution of our Best in Class Customer Service Programs.

Responsibilities

• Training of barn staff in vaccination theory, safety, and practical execution of vaccinations with Improvac
• Guidance and technical advice on optimal vaccination strategies at the herd level
• Certification of barn staff in “Correct use of vaccines”
• Quality checks of vaccinations
• Assisting with the practical execution of vaccinations at the farm level
• Principle for collecting and reporting all important information within Zoetis Data System 
• Liaison between producers and Zoetis
• Follow all safety/precautionary procedures.
• Regular communication with the supervisor

Technical Skills

• Strong technical insight in swine-production and management

• Proficient organizational skills
• Self-motivator and self starter
• Strong critical thinking problem solving, judgment, and initiative
• Effective communication skills are necessary to interact directly with multiple levels of customer management
• Basic computer skills using Word / Excel / and Outlook
• Bilingual (English/Danish) needed

Education & Experience

• Typically requires a vocational education in agriculture, zookeeper or related field. Experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirement
• Normally requires 3 – 5 years of related experience. 

Physical Position Requirements

Majority of work is done in swine farms where exposure to a potentially hazardous environment is possible.

• Heat and Humidity above average are common
• Available for unsocial work hours
• Available for On-Call
• Travel 60-80% of the time.
