MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Financial Analyst to join our vehicle sustainment team. This position is fully remote.
The selected candidate will provide accounting and administrative support to multiple families of vehicles globally on the Allied Logistics Engineering Capabilities Sustainment (ALECS) program.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Develop and maintain comprehensive program and administrative financial reports, including budget estimates, monthly status reports, and risk assessments in compliance with contract requirements and internal policies.

Review and analyze monthly status reports for accuracy, trends, and cost alignment; provide accurate forecasting data and financial guidance to program managers and customers.

Build, maintain, and manage forecasting models (EACs/ETCs); gather inputs from stakeholders and provide scenario-based financial analysis related to revenue, labor, profit, and funding utilization.

Conduct budget analysis, schedule evaluations, and cost control reviews to support performance tracking and ensure compliance with program and contract objectives.

Monitor and enforce adherence to internal controls, proper accounting practices, and company financial policies; ensure timely completion of accruals and billing activities during monthly close cycles.

Track and reconcile obligated and expended funds; provide charge code guidance, manage subcontractor expenditures, and resolve financial discrepancies with vendors and internal teams.

Audit and process expense reports, timesheets, and purchase requisitions; prepare and submit Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) financial deliverables; clearly communicate financial performance and risks to stakeholders through verbal and written channels.
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, or six (6)+ years of relevant financial experience in lieu of a degree.

3+ years of experience in financial analysis, financial planning, program control, or project accounting.

Demonstrated understanding of budgeting, forecasting, cost and revenue reconciliation, and variance analysis processes.

Working knowledge of multiple government contract types (including T&M, Fixed Price, and Cost-Plus).

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with common financial systems or tools.

Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain financial data in clear, actionable terms.

Must thrive in a deadline-driven, high-accountability environment that demands strong work ethic, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in commercial or government contracting environments.

Familiarity with Deltek Costpoint, Peoplesoft, or similar ERP/reporting tools.

Availability to work standard business hours aligned to the Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone to support program and stakeholder needs effectively.

The projected compensation range for this position is $61,200.00-$101,700.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
