About the project 
We are looking for a FinOps Specialist to join our Technology team. This role will be responsible for optimizing cloud costs, working closely with Engineering teams to ensure efficient resource allocation and financial accountability. The FinOps Specialist will also handle forecasting, instance reservations, and cost visibility, reporting directly to the Head of Cloud & Platform. 
How your day-to-day work will look like 

✅ Monitor, analyze, and optimize cloud spending across multiple services. 

✅ Collaborate with Engineering teams to implement cost-effective cloud solutions. 

✅ Develop and maintain cloud cost forecasting models. 

✅ Manage Reserved Instances and Savings Plans to optimize long-term costs. 

✅ Provide visibility and insights into cloud expenses through dashboards and reports. 

✅ Define and promote best practices for cloud cost governance. 

✅ Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement in cost management. 
This would make you the ideal candidate 
✨ Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Finance, IT, Cloud Computing, or Business) is a strong plus. 
✨ 7+ Years of experience in FinOps or cloud management roles. 
✨ Hands-on experience with AWS services and cost management tools (e.g., AWS Cost Explorer). 
✨ Strong financial forecasting, budgeting, cloud cost forecasting, and cost optimization skills at an enterprise level. 
✨ Strong technical knowledge to engage effectively with architects and technical stakeholders. 
✨ Experience with other cloud providers (e.g., GCP, Azure). 
✨ Familiarity with cloud cost management platforms (e.g., CloudHealth, Cloudability). 
✨ Ability to define and promote best practices for cloud cost governance. 
✨ Advanced English Level is required for this role as you will work with US clients. Effective communication in English is essential to deliver the best solutions to our clients and expand your horizons.
