Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Customer Support & Software Installation: Collaborate with sales, support, and engineering teams to assist customers in installing OpenLab Family informatics software. This includes addressing networking, chromatography, and database-related questions.
- Technical Troubleshooting & Escalation Management: Lead the resolution of complex technical issues both onsite and remotely. Work closely with cross-functional teams (Support, Sales, Marketing, R&D) to deliver timely and effective solutions during critical situations.
- IT Collaboration & Best Practices: Partner with customers’ IT departments to advise on supported configurations, virtualization technologies, and industry best practices to ensure optimal software performance.
- Customer Training & Enablement: Conduct training sessions—either onsite or remotely—to help customers to become proficient users of OpenLab Family informatics products.
- Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain technical documentation for both internal teams and customers. This helps streamline communication and enhances understanding of software workflows and solutions.
Qualifications
Candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or higher degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience, including direct involvement in regulated laboratory environments (e.g., GMP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, ISO standards).
- Technical Expertise:
- Advanced problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Strong decision-making skills and ability to work independently.
- Proficient in Windows OS, Windows Server OS, Networking and Security. Knowledge on MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL and other databases desired.
- Extensive experience with virtual environments (VM), Terminal Services and Citrix.
- Agilent Software Knowledge:
- Deep understanding of the Agilent OpenLab CDS suite (CDS 2, EZChrom, ChemStation, ECM XT, ECM 3.x).
- Familiarity with Agilent OpenLab Intelligent Reporting.
- Experience with Agilent MassHunter (MS) is a plus.
- Additional Skills:
- Fluency in both Portuguese and English.
- Effective teamwork and strong organizational skills are essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of Python and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) is advantageous.
Additional Details
This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely.
