JOB SUMMARY:
This position plays an integral role within IT and establishes best practices in project management execution, methodologies and process and tool utilization to ensure of the delivery of IT products and services all while driving continuous improvement. The incumbent will regularly utilize subject matter expertise to define solutions and lead effective change for delivery teams across both the departmental and overall information technology landscape.
JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Lead the rollout of best practices and processes, which may include, but is not limited to the creation of documentation and the delivery of training
2. Utilize expertise in various aspects of software delivery and in project management and productivity tools serve as an enterprise IT coach driving portfolios, programs, teams and resources to increase their maturity in project execution
3. Independently assess existing IT delivery team practices to identify challenges and opportunities. Define and implement solutions that involve both process and tools.
4. Lead process discussions on PMO/COE improvement initiatives with representative stakeholders across various disciplines and roles within the IT organization.
5. Establish KPIs and metrics to identify opportunities and to demonstrate continuous improvement. Manage the collection and reporting of IT project delivery KPIs and metrics.
6. Define, lead and/or implement enterprise standard solutions for reports and dashboards to communicate key metrics, progress and other data across portfolios, programs and teams for stakeholders.
7. Drive and influence organizational change at all levels using change management techniques
8. Drive and manage enterprise continuous improvement projects that improve the IT organization’s software delivery capabilities
9. Lead the definition of SDLC framework, methodologies, and creation of related artifacts and deliverables
10. Serve as a subject matter expert for organizational collaboration and productivity tools; consulting with users, customizing the solutions, driving utilization and increasing efficiency.
11. Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments and all levels of staff, including executive management.
12. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.

Qualifications
JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training):
* Must have 8 to 10 years’ experience in IT, 2 years of which should be specialized in driving continuous improvements.
* Required licensures, professional certifications, and/or Board certifications as applicable:
o Project Management Professional certification, desirable
o Experience with CMMI, Six Sigma ITIL or Lean, or demonstrated process improvement experience
o Agile certification, desirable
* Strong practical experience with collaboration and productivity tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Teams and others
* Practical experience with Project Portfolio Management (PPM) Tools
* Experience with business intelligence tools, desired
* Portfolio, Program and Project Management expertise
* Leadership, consensus building and motivational skills
* Experience working with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies and a solid understanding of all stages of the SDLC
* Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with distributed teams
* Excellent facilitation and presentation skills
* Ability to garner support and operate with political savvy
* Experience implementing continual process improvement
* Experience as a member of a COE, desirable
* Highly organized and detail oriented with the proven ability to multi-task
* Subject matter expert in full Microsoft Office suite; advanced Excel skills.
* BS in Computer Science or related fields.
COMPENSATION
The salary range for this position is $125K to $135K. Specific offers take into account a candidate’s education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate’s work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.
