MANTECH seeks a highly skilled and experienced Lead Data Engineer to serve as a designated Key Personnel on a critical federal contract. This is a fully REMOTE opportunity.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Designing and implementing dimensional models (Kimbell star schemas) that can accommodate future changes and growth of the data.
  • Coordinate and document data governance, lineage, and change management process across development, test, and production environments.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate reporting requirements into efficient SQL queries and data models.
  • Serving as a skilled Database Administrator (DBA).
  • Working with the project team to ensure efficient and accurate data migration.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, IT, Finance, or Business).
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in key data-related roles, including leading enterprise data management initiatives, data foundation work, data modeling, and data migration.
  • Dimensional modeling, SQL, VB.NET or C#
  • Functional knowledge of US federal budget planning and execution processes and experience with implementing US federal budget planning and execution software.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing, including technical documentation.
     

Clearance Requirements:

  • US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance
     

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations
  • Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

The projected compensation range for this position is $92,900.00-$154,100.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
