As an LLM Engineer, you understand the potential of AI and especially LLMs, follow current developments, and apply this knowledge to solve real-world problems across a wide range of industries, projects, and products.
- Development: You develop (automation) solutions in small, self-directed teams by combining LLMs and software engineering
- LLM Optimization: You optimize LLMs through finetuning, prompting, and RAG
- Agent-based Workflows: You develop agent-based LLM workflows
- Coding Assistants: You develop, test, and document making the most intensive use of LLM-based coding assistants
- End-to-End: You are involved in the development from conception to deployment
- LLM Security: You actively follow new attack vectors against LLMs and develop measures that stay one step ahead of them
- You hold an excellent Master’s degree in Computer Science or have a comparable background
- You have comprehensive and always up-to-date knowledge in the field of LLMs, and are familiar with current models, benchmarks, and frameworks
- You have a deep technical understanding of the Transformer architecture
- You have experience with RAG, prompting, hosting, and finetuning of LLMs
- You have excellent programming skills, live by best practices, and have successfully shipped software projects
- You get the maximum out of LLM-based coding assistants: parallel sessions, MCP tools, Agent.md, workflow automation – and you are constantly looking for ways to become even more productive
- You enjoy working in a team and can communicate effectively with people of different professions (technical and non-technical)
- You have excellent German language skills
- You have a strong sense of responsibility and identify risks early on
- Through your motivation and self-discipline, you achieve a high quality standard, deliver results on time, and motivate other team members
- You use modern tools, including AI, to work more efficiently
