Overview:
The OFW ESP Leader will be a dedicated role responsible for ensuring compliance within OFW ESP. This position will manage a team(s), conduct audits, ensure regulatory compliance, and act as a global point of contact for technical project-related requests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management:
- Manage a team(s) of EHS/ESP personnel onshore and offshore.
- Oversee time management, personnel development, and administrative duties.
- Audits and Compliance:
- Conduct internal and external audits of personnel, processes, and procedures.
- Ensure global projects comply with regulatory bodies and local/regional legislation.
- Tooling and Site Setup:
- Manage authorized tooling registers for assigned projects and regions.
- Support new site setup, including ESP rules, authorizations, and requirements.
- Process Development and Improvement:
- Collaborate with engineering to develop methods and processes.
- Propose process improvements to reduce costs, and increase safety with a special focus on EHS compliance.
- Technical Evaluations and Authorizations:
- Conduct technical Safe Systems of Work (SSoW) related evaluations.
- Manage technical authorization-related situations.
- Stakeholder Liaison:
- Serve as the global point of contact for all stakeholders with technical project-related requests/questions.
- Resolve or support any SSoW rule breaches or potential non-compliances.
- Expertise and Authorizing Roles:
- Act as a subject matter expert in required business fields.
- Perform the roles and responsibilities of an Authorizing Engineer and an Authorizing Officer (Low Voltage and High Voltage).
Required Qualifications / Skills:
- Extensive background working on electromechanical systems.
- Wealth of WTG Service/Commissioning experience in electrical systems.
- WTG Service/Commissioning experience in Safe Systems of Work, preferably in LOTO, WTSR & MDSR.
- Proficiency in the English language.
- Low Voltage experience required.
- High Voltage experience required.
- EHS experience required.
- Experience in wind turbine commissioning and/or service.
- Experience with tools, suppliers, and the use of quality tools.
- Project management experience required.

- Knowledge of but not limited to the operation of wind turbine synchronous generators: yaw, cooling circuits, hydraulic systems, variable frequency drives.
