A Day in the Life
The Regional Marketing Lead for the Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) team will be responsible for developing and implementing commercial marketing activities for CAS full portfolio products in the cluster region covering Switzerland, Austria, Greece and Israel. This entails establishment of local marketing plans, engagement with the sales teams, customer segmentation and development/execution of marketing strategies and campaigns on a regional level; product launches execution to ensure successful adoption of CAS innovations, local promotional activities, regional customer engagements, local congresses/events organization.
In the role, you are a strong marketeer, strategic thinker, deliberate executer, committed team player and close collaborator, able to drive strong engagements with sales teams, broader European marketing & sales organizations, and customers. You will support the CAS Operating Unit (OU) in advancing our capability to disrupt and lead the electrophysiology market, eventually reporting to the Western European CAS marketing director, in close collaboration with Commercial leaders of the region, including sales managers, sales representatives and technical consultants.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Drive flawless product launches execution and product adoption in the region.
- Engage daily with the sales force and sales leadership teams to effectively drive the growth and adoption of our products in each respective country.
- Develop and execute impactful marketing campaigns, ensure tracking of initiatives to evaluate results and provide recommendations for future campaigns.
- Provide support to regional sales team on best practices, therapy/product expertise, clinical data in customer visits and local events.
- Engage and build relationships with main customers and key opinion leaders in the region, share gained customer insights with broader teams.
- Gather and analyze competitive information to develop new initiatives as needed. Oversee development and execution of sales and marketing initiatives in collaboration with WE marketing team.
- Organize local congress activities, including scientific symposia, experts’ meetings, innovation days to ensure strong and impactful CAS presence.
- Provide input on product line sales forecasting for the region, as well as budget planning.
Required knowledge and experience
- Master’s degree in marketing or business degree required.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in sales and/or marketing from the medical device field, preferably in cardiac rhythm management and/or Electrophysiology ( EP)
- Fluency in English, French and German
- Availability to travel for at least a 30% of working time
- Self-starter with strong track record of project execution, with experience in data analytics aimed at rendering meaningful insights from raw data
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment, clearly communicate marketing strategy and tactical plans, lead and collaborate with cross-functional partners, prioritize high impact activities, and keep complex projects moving forward
- Ability to quickly develop relationships and rapport with individuals at all levels and from all cultures, work well under pressure and maintain a positive, enthusiastic attitude, along with a strong capacity to understand rapidly clinical/technical aspects of the job
