About the role

We’re on the hunt for a motivated and passionate Salesforce Administrator to join our growing Salesforce and Go-To-Market team. You’ll play a key role in onboarding and supporting our users, maintaining our data quality, and, most importantly, understanding areas that our users may be struggling with or enhancements that could be made to unlock our high-performing teams even more with the use of Salesforce.
In this role you will work closely with our Go-to-Market Ecosystem team who are an in-house team of Salesforce experts driven by making our user experience world-class and ensuring great adoption of tools, processes, and data quality to enable crucial business decisions.
An ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with the administration of Salesforce. Think reports, dashboards, user setup, and general Salesforce hygiene best-practices. This role will also involve the administration of other tools within our Go-to-Market Ecosystem such as Docusign and Telephony solutions. A massive bonus is experience with training or supporting users in a fun but insightful way.
We’re looking for people who are comfortable working in a dynamic environment where they will be challenged on a daily basis. We want people who are obsessed with helping to deliver the best outcome for our farmers. To succeed you will need to be able to learn quickly and utilise your own initiative while working under pressure and to tight deadlines.

Who are we looking for – these skills are essential for this role and reflect how we operate every day. We expect applicants to demonstrate evidence of these requirements in their resume, cover letter and interviews.

  • Strong understanding of data management best practices, including imports, exports, deduplication, and maintaining data integrity.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain reports, dashboards, and list views to support business insights and decision making.
  • Comfortable managing user onboarding, troubleshooting access issues, and maintaining system hygiene.
  • Confident supporting and training end users, with clear communication and a focus on adoption and ease of use.
  • Ambition to get hands on, implement improvements, and suggest upgrades to our wider team.
  • Ability to maintain a knowledgebase of resources and document new or existing features in a clear and thoughtful way.

Bonus things you could bring along to the role – These are not essential for you to apply

  • Experience with feature roll-outs, bringing users on the journey.
  • Experience administrating other tools outside of Salesforce.
  • A desire to grow within the team and get hands-on with new Salesforce tools and features.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification or equivalent.
  • Experience working with Sales, Support, and Marketing Teams.

What your day could look like

  • Onboard (train) our new starters or users that are not as confident in Salesforce.
  • Set up our new users with the correct roles, titles, and permissions.
  • Monitor our Salesforce Help channel on Slack. This is usually user error items or one off requests.
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards for our Managers and Individual Contributors.
  • Work with our Go-to-Market Ecosystem team to identify trends in internal Salesforce support cases and suggest improvements that you think could benefit our users.
  • Support our in-house development team in testing new releases.
  • Document new or existing processes in Notion to support user training and AI knowledgebase.

Our Office First Approach
There’s a reason you visit your friends in person, live with your family and don’t do dinners over Zoom. Humans are wired for connection. We believe a world-class, in-person office culture is the best way for high-performing teams. Being office first is a core pillar of our culture. We believe in-person connections are key to driving your own growth, learning, impact, and building genuine long-lasting relationships. Strong relationships make it easier to disagree, give feedback, and do meaningful and aligned work. We don’t like having heaps of rules or policies, but this means having strong, trusted relationships is critical.
We’re office first, not office only. This means working from the office everyday is our default setting, but we flex when we need to. We have a high-trust culture, so everyone is trusted to do what’s best for Halter.
Our office vibe is something special, it’s hard to describe until you’re here, but people at Halter who have come from fully remote or hybrid companies say they could never go back – the high energy and spectacular people they are now surrounded by everyday makes work so enjoyable. Your growth, your learning and your impact is truly unlimited here, and a big part of that comes from being together solving problems, innovating, building context, and constantly learning from each other.
