We are currently seeking an ambitious pace-setter to join our team as Senior Director of Finance, Strategy
ROLE COMMITMENTS:
Optimize the enterprise: Helps guide the financial architect of our corporate strategy, ensuring every dollar is a strategic investment in our future.
- Drive Capital Allocation: Develop and champion a disciplined capital allocation framework to guide executive decisions on strategic investments, operational spending, and shareholder returns, maximizing long-term value.
- Innovate Business Models: Analyze and model new revenue streams, pricing strategies, and go-to-market models (e.g., subscription vs. hardware, direct-to-consumer vs. channel) to enhance profitability and competitive positioning.
- Champion ROI-Driven Culture: Partner with business leaders to instill a rigorous, data-driven approach to decision-making, establishing clear ROI metrics for major projects and marketing campaigns.
Deliver high-quality consumer experiences: Provide the analytical foundation that enables investment in world-class experiences for our members.
- Quantify the User Journey: Develop sophisticated models to understand Customer Lifetime Value (LTV) and the financial impacts of churn, engagement, and customer satisfaction.
- Inform Product Investment: Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to build compelling business cases for new features, hardware improvements, and platform enhancements that delight users and drive financial returns.
- Analyze Pricing & Promotions: Evaluate the financial and behavioral impact of different pricing tiers and promotional strategies to ensure they align with our premium brand experience and growth targets.
Build the most compelling connected health & fitness platform: Identify and execute on opportunities to strengthen our market position.
- Help Lead M&A Strategy: Act as the financial lead for all corporate development activities, managing the M&A pipeline from target identification and valuation to due diligence and integration planning.
- Evaluate Strategic Partnerships: Assess the financial viability and strategic fit of potential partnerships with other technology companies, content creators, and health platforms to accelerate our ecosystem’s growth.
- Guide R&D Portfolio: Collaborate with the Chief Technology Officer to treat our R&D budget as an investment portfolio, ensuring we are funding projects with the highest potential to create breakthrough products and defensible technology.
Build the value of our brand portfolio: Ensure our brand strength is not just a perception, but a measurable financial asset.
- Measure Brand Investment: Partner with the Chief Marketing Officer to quantify the ROI of brand-building initiatives and campaigns, linking marketing spend to tangible growth in market share and brand equity.
- Analyze Market Expansion: Lead the financial analysis for geographic expansion, providing data-backed recommendations on which new markets to enter and how to win.
- Assess Brand Opportunities: Evaluate the financial potential of brand extensions, licensing deals, and other opportunities to leverage our brand portfolio into new revenue streams.
Make people, culture, and how we operate a competitive advantage: Help design the financial framework that allows our talent and culture to thrive.
- Align Incentives with Strategy: Partner with HR to design and analyze long-term incentive plans (e.g., equity, performance bonuses) that motivate employees and directly align their success with the company’s strategic and financial goals.
- Architect Organizational Efficiency: Provide analytical support for organizational design, strategic headcount planning, and investments in enterprise systems (like ERP or FP&A tools) that empower our teams to operate more effectively.

Qualifications
Education and Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field is required (MBA preferred).
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strategic Expertise: Proven track record of leading strategic financial projects, including hands-on experience with M&A transactions and complex financial modeling and valuation.
- Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring teams. You must be able to inspire and guide others while also being a strong individual contributor.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate and present complex financial information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences, including C-suite executives and the Board of Directors.
- Business Acumen: Strong understanding of corporate strategy and the ability to think critically about business challenges from a financial perspective.
