Job Title: Senior Field Marketing Manager

Location: Remote

THE OPPORTUNITY:

At Salesloft, our Senior Field Marketing Manager will be pivotal to our company’s success. You will be a key member of our fast-growing and high-performing North American Revenue Marketing team, responsible for the strategic planning, execution and outcomes of our most impactful field programs.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for leading field marketing initiatives to drive pipeline and revenue. Specifically, you will:

Deliver Maximum Pipeline Impact with Field Marketing

  • Create a comprehensive field marketing strategy to deliver pipeline and revenue, partnering with Sales teams to develop a deep understanding of their business and determine the appropriate mix of marketing campaigns, events, and activities.
  • Collaborate with revenue organization stakeholders (Sales, Customer Success, Office of Pipeline) to prioritize and execute highly-targeted virtual and in-person events to accelerate pipeline through enablement, event recruitment and comprehensive follow-up processess. 
  • Partner with Revenue Marketing team members across Digital, Events and ABM on cross-channel strategies to effectively engage target accounts.
  • Measure and report on the pipeline impact and ROI of all field programs, making data-driven recommendations for future investment based on outcomes. 

Create Engaging and Innovative Field Marketing Programs

  • Develop and deliver high-touch marketing programs to create/accelerate opportunities, build executive relationships, generate quality pipeline, move prospects through the sales cycle, and impact revenue growth.
  • Drive the strategy and execution of our hosted and sponsored field event strategy, including content development, onsite experience and logistics, and cohesive pre-event, at-event, and post-event strategies. 
  • Identify co-marketing opportunities with industry communities and partners to create demand at scale. 
  • Leverage 6sense ABM automation platform to identify and monitor buyer intent keywords to orchestrate buyer intent-driven campaigns to segment audiences at scale.
  • Collaborate with the content and campaign teams to develop campaign-specific assets and industry messaging (i.e. OB cadence nurturing, field engagement, content hubs, gifting, etc.).

THE TEAM:

The Revenue Marketing team consists of data-driven marketers across Digital, ABM, Field Marketing, and Events that are motivated, ambitious, and passionate about supporting our pipeline and revenue goals.

THE SKILL SET:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • 7-9 years of experience executing field marketing programs to drive pipeline generation.
  • Data-driven and results-oriented, with experience analyzing program performance and delivering relevant insights to senior leadership with a focus on business outcomes. 
  • Proficiency in CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo).
  • Proficiency in event registration software (e.g. Swoogo, Splash). 
  • Experience with other sales or marketing technology applications is strongly preferred (e.g. 6sense, Terminus, Salesloft, ContentStack, and PathFactory).
  • Strong negotiation skills with ability to manage contracting processes. 
  • Strong experience managing budgets to ensure the most effective use of investment and resources, building business cases, and completing ROI analysis. 
  • Experience with venue research, selection, and contracting. 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex strategies clearly.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders across all levels of an organization.
  • Creative, self-motivated, and enjoys solving problems. 
  • Ability to work independently on a majority of tasks. 
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to get buy-in from leadership, Sales, and Customer Success on new initiatives and strategies.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality event experiences.
  • Ability to travel up to 15-20% during peak event seasons.

WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOU’LL:

  • Attend Salesloft’s New Hire Orientation, where you will learn our Salesloft story and understand what makes our “Lofters” unique.
  • Begin 1:1’s with your manager, understand your 30-60-90 plan, and meet & shadow current members of the team.
  • Set your OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) with your manager and develop an action plan to achieve them.
  • Meet with key partners across Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Product.
  • Begin taking ownership of current field marketing programs. 

WITHIN THREE MONTHS, YOU’LL:

  • Be leading the execution of field marketing programs.
  • Contribute to the strategic planning for the next fiscal year.
  • Be partnering with peers on ABM and Event Marketing to ideate on target account engagement. 
  • Present initial ideas for enhancing strategies to the leadership team.

WITHIN SIX MONTHS, YOU’LL:

  • Have successfully led the execution of multiple hosted and sponsored field events. 
  • Be actively designing and planning for upcoming programs.
  • Be proficient in measuring and reporting on the pipeline impact of your programs.
  • Continuously focus on your OKRs and identify areas for process improvement.

WITHIN TWELVE MONTHS, YOU’LL:

  • Be considered a high-performer on the team by continuously seeking new challenges and ways to optimize field programs and their impact.
  • Have played a critical role in increasing field marketing-driven pipeline and revenue.
  • Be a trusted advisor for field marketing strategy across the organization with deep relationships with sales partners.

Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
The total compensation package for this position may also include performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.

Base Pay Range$104,000—$165,000 USD
