Where does this role fit in? The Senior HR Business Partner – GTM sits within the People Team and reports directly to the Chief People Officer. This role partners deeply with the Chief Revenue Officer and Chief Marketing Officer, and their global leadership teams, to enable the success of our commercial organisation across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Revenue Operations, and Enablement. Operating at the intersection of Sales, SDR/BDR, and Marketing, you’ll ensure our go-to-market engine is aligned, high-performing, and scalable. Based in the US, you’ll work closely with leaders and teams across Australia, the US, and EMEA, connecting people strategy with commercial outcomes and business growth and ensuring our people practices fuel growth, scalability, and world-class execution.
What you will do?
- Partner with the CRO, CMO, and their leadership teams to shape and execute the people strategy for our global go-to-market organisation.
- Act as a trusted advisor on organisational design, capability, and culture — ensuring strong alignment between Sales, Marketing, SDR/BDR, Customer Success, and Enablement.
- Use sales and marketing performance metrics (pipeline, productivity, quota attainment, conversion, retention, etc.) to identify opportunities where people initiatives can lift outcomes.
- Coach and influence senior executives to strengthen leadership capability, drive accountability, and enhance cross-functional collaboration.
- Partner with the broader People Team on reward, performance, talent, and engagement strategies that drive commercial success.
- Anticipate and manage organisational challenges that come with scaling a distributed, high-growth go-to-market function.
- Provide thought partnership on organisational health, culture, and change across the commercial organisation.
What you will bring?
- Proven success as a strategic HR Business Partner supporting commercial, sales, or marketing functions in high-growth or SaaS environments.
- Deep understanding of sales and marketing performance drivers — including the link between people, pipeline, and productivity.
- Demonstrated ability to build trusted partnerships with C-suite executives, influencing strategy and decision-making.
- Experience operating across multiple regions and time zones, balancing strategic partnership with hands-on delivery.
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Credibility, composure, and confidence in fast-paced, results-driven environments.
