We’re looking for an experienced Senior Program Manager who will help lead us through our next phase of growth. We’ve built our brand and our position in the market on the back of delivering incredible results for our clients. As a result, we have projects with some of the largest and most well-known companies in the world. 

In this role, the Senior Program Manager oversees multiple high visibility projects leveraging varying SDLC’s, ensuring alignment across internal teams, including sales and delivery, and key customer/partner stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a seasoned consulting leader and outstanding communicator with a strong track record of managing and scaling large, strategic customer portfolios (>$10M) and developing a robust delivery organization. A core part of this role will also involve nurturing future leaders within the team, helping us grow responsibly while staying true to our engineering principles and positive culture. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a bias for action that is ready to take on high-impact responsibilities and drive our next stage of growth.

Job Requirements:

  • 10+ years of Technical Program Management delivering complex, multi-workstream initiatives; hands-on ownership of customer relationships, timelines, scope, budgets, and resources (architects and engineers) for data and AI projects.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple customers concurrently while maintaining 85%+ billable utilization; consistent record of on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Strong background leading data, AI, and analytics programs with measurable business impact.
  • Hands-on Portfolio/Program Management expertise with Agile methodologies and strong understanding of Waterfall; able to select and tailor approaches for outcomes.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, and Microsoft 365 (Excel); strong technical and process documentation skills.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills; produces executive-ready updates and drives clear decision-making with C-level stakeholders.
  • Highly organized and self-directed; excels at time management and prioritization across competing initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and critical-thinking skills; exercises independent judgment and escalates with clarity when needed.
  • Direct client-facing experience in a consulting or professional services organization, including navigating complex stakeholder landscapes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related technical field preferred.
  • PMP and CSM certifications strongly preferred; additional credentials 

The Ideal Candidate will: 

  • Take full ownership of programs for phData’s largest strategic accounts, driving success from discovery to execution and scale with minimal supervision
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal sales and delivery leadership to drive overall customer success and account health.
  • Connect client strategic objectives to project outcomes by crafting a clear narrative of how our work drives measurable value; create executive-ready enablement (updates, ROI snapshots, case studies) and partner with sponsors to socialize and sell success internally across stakeholder groups
  • Translate business objectives into actionable data and AI roadmaps with measurable milestones; align architecture, engineering, and delivery work to measurable outcomes.
  • Lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams, elevating delivery quality, efficiency, and professional development; coach other PMs/TPMs as needed.
  • Own project and portfolio financials, including revenue targets, margin management, forecasting, and reporting; identify levers to improve profitability.
  • Ensure rigorous project governance with operating cadences, clear RACI, risk/issue/decision logs, change control, and stakeholder communications.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks across delivery, scope, and resourcing; create recovery plans and drive resolution to closure.
  • Drive account growth through upsell and cross-sell of data and AI solutions; support business development with proposals, SOWs, and executive presentations.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to lead difficult conversations with clarity, empathy, and accountability.
  • Facilitate innovation forums and/or onsite sessions to accelerate value realization and stakeholder alignment.
  • Develop a deep understanding of account history, context, and constraints; anticipate needs and shape long-term planning.
  • Be a key participant in building and executing account plans and strategic roadmaps in partnership with sales and delivery leadership.
  • Document and enhance phData best practices, playbooks, and templates; drive adoption of delivery KPIs and continuous improvement across the portfolio
