Job Title: Sr. Solutions Engineer 
Location: US Remote in Central Time Zone, United States (preferred locations: Dallas, Texas, St. Louis, MO, Chicago, IL)

 About the role:

Aviatrix Systems is seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Sr. Solution Engineers to join our global sales team. As a Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for driving technical sales efforts and providing support to our sales executives. You will play a vital role in understanding customer needs, presenting technical solutions, and securing new business opportunities.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs and align Aviatrix technical solutions with business objectives and outcomes.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospects and customers, highlighting the value and benefits of our products.
  • Assist in developing technical proposals, including system designs, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Respond to requests for proposals (RFPs) and support the sales team in creating compelling and tailored technical responses.
  • Address technical inquiries, provide product guidance, and offer pre-sales technical support throughout the sales cycle.
  • Identify and effectively communicate technical differentiators and competitive advantages to the sales team and customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted advisor on technical matters.
  • Conduct training sessions for customers and partners on product features, functionality, and best practices.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements, providing insights and recommendations to customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including product management, engineering, and customer success, to drive customer satisfaction and product improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in technical sales, sales engineering or solutions engineering, helping enterprise customers navigate the complexities of on-prem to cloud or multicloud networking, security and infrastructure.
  • Proven ability to explain complex technical concepts across networking, security, and cloud domains
  • Deep, hands-on expertise in architecting and deploying hybrid and public cloud solutions (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI)
  • Strong proficiency in Layers 3–7 networking, including design, security, and troubleshooting in hybrid/multicloud environments
  • Knowledge of network segmentation, Zero Trust Architecture, security policies, and modern security models
  • Experienced with Terraform for pre-sales POCs and demo environments and automation
  • Solid understanding of Kubernetes networking, including ingress controllers and service meshes
  • Deliver outstanding product demos, presentations and strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills for customized technical solution design
  • Collaborative and autonomous, with comfort working across sales, engineering, and product functions
  • Strong customer orientation, committed to delivering top-tier pre-sales experiences and building long-term relationships
  • Proficient in CRM systems and sales enablement tools
  • Background in Software Defined Networking (SDN) is a plus
  • Willing to travel up to 60% for customer and industry engagement

 The US OTE compensation range for this full-time position is OTE $197,795 – $228,000 + benefits + 401(k) match + equity. The pay range is determined by role, work location, job-related skills, level, experience and relevant education. The range displayed is applicable only for new hires for the listed position located in the US.
