Senior Technical Product Analyst 

Position Overview:  

Bloom, the insurance industry’s trusted growth partner, is looking for a talented and motivated Senior Technical Product Analyst with broad experience in implementing products and solutions in the Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and SNP markets.  This role will help propel Bloom forward in the adoption of cloud technologies in Azure and/or AWS, while also migrating legacy infrastructure to cloud-native solutions.  As an integral part of our product team, you’ll foster a culture of respect and innovation while aligning your team to deliver on the company’s strategic objectives.

Ideal candidates will have experience working in a health system, hospital, care management, or payer environment where HIPAA, HITRUST, and security drive the daily focus and goals. With this experience, this role provides an opportunity to mentor junior members of the team and design solutions across the company. 

Position Highlights: 

  • Collect and organize incoming feature requests and product feedback from internal and external stakeholders 
  • Support coordination across a portfolio of initiatives, helping ensure alignment on priorities, timelines, and ownership 
  • Partner with cross functional teams to support release planning, including coordination of timelines, dependencies, release notes, customer adoption, and stakeholder communication 
  • Help define and track success metrics for features and initiatives, including user adoption, revenue generation, and customer retention 
  • Drive the execution and delivery across a portfolio of work, surfacing risks or blockers early while defining viable solutions and formulating recommendations to move forward 
  • Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams through structured workflows, product lifecycle steps, and documentation 
  • Identify and implement process improvements while supporting effective Agile practices, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and status tracking in Jira 
  • Champion data-driven decision making and market-based needs analysis, consistent product processes and Agile best practices across teams 
  • Perform other duties as assigned 

Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or a minimum of four (4) years of experience in lieu of degree. 
  • 5+ years of experience in product analysis and project or portfolio management, with a strong track record of bringing structure and clarity to complex initiatives required. 
  • Prior experience in SaaS and health care technology environments, with comfort navigating complex systems or regulatory requirements 

 

Required Skills and Abilities: 

  • Strong product mindset — able to think critically about user needs, value delivery, and implementation tradeoffs  
  • Ability to thrive when faced with uncertainty to drive through decision making and gathering customer input to establish clarity and progress. 
  • Experience designing and implementing solutions in Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills 
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and follow-through 
  • Familiarity with tools like Azure DevOps and Jira for managing product backlogs and roadmaps 
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment – asking questions and quantifying unknowns to eliminate blockers quickly. 
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking, and attention to detail 
  • Understanding business goals and how data insights can drive strategic decisions 
  • Has good organizational and interpersonal skills and broad experience interacting successfully with technical and non-technical audiences 
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive working independently or as part of a team taking initiative
