Description & Requirements

Job location: any European HUB office: Barcelona, Farnborough, Munich, Oslo, Paris, Stockholm (hybrid model).

The Transformation Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving bid excellence across GPS. Acting as a key differentiator the person is driving high-quality, competitive, and strategically aligned bids to increase win rate, enhance customer reference and support long-term quality revenue growth. This individual facilitates informed decision-making and promotes long-term sustainable business outcomes through a value-driven approach. As a key agent for change he/she will support the successful execution of transformation programs such as Effort Reduction and Global Work Order transformation, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

This role demands a forward-thinking leader with analytic acumen, collaborative expertise, and compelling communication skills to deliver impactful and sustainable changes. Through a deep understanding of Infor’s sales and delivery processes, you will act as a catalyst for innovation and continuous improvement, ensuring measurable outcomes and business success.

Key Responsibilities

Bid Management Excellence

  1. Strategic Alignment: Ensure all bids align with Infor’s strategic and financial objectives by advocating for “selling good business.”
  2. Bid Quality and Competitiveness: Enhance compliance capabilities and refine bid processes to boost quality, customer value, and market competitiveness.
  3. Risk Mitigation: Conduct critical, independent business reviews of bids and artifacts to identify and mitigate delivery and commercial risks, ensuring compliance with internal standards and best practices.
  4. Strategic Support: Partner with sales and delivery teams to develop impactful strategies that present value-driven offers and achieve successful bid closures.
  5. Executive Leadership Support: Lead executive deal reviews for strategic and complex bids, acting on behalf of executive leadership to ensure informed, independent decisions that align with organizational goals and strategic priorities, while maintaining accountability and consistent leadership representation

Global Work Order Transformation

  1. Ownership: Act as the primary owner and single point of accountability for the Global Work Order (GWO).
  2. Steering Committee Leadership: Chair the Global Work Order Steering Committee to address key issues and align decisions with global requirements.
  3. Content Management: Oversee updates, edits, and governance of GWO content, maintaining clarity, consistency, and version control.
  4. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with Sales, Legal, Operations, and Finance teams to validate content, align requirements, and secure necessary approvals for updates to the Global Work Order.
  5. Enablement and Documentation: Develop and distribute enablement materials while training stakeholders to ensure proper adoption and compliance with the updated Global Work Order content.

Translation & Localization

  1. Translation Oversight: Coordinate with global translation partners to ensure accurate and timely translations.
  2. Quality Assurance: Validate localized versions to maintain the integrity of the original content and meet local market needs.
  3. AI Integration: Leverage AI tools to improve the efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and scalability of translation processes.
  4. Communication and Issue Resolution: Maintain proactive communication with global translation partners to resolve issues and ensure alignment on quality benchmarks.
  5. Regional Adaptation: Balance localization accuracy with global consistency, ensuring alignment with market-specific requirements and core design principles.

Transformation Management

  1. Process Optimization: Evaluate and optimize existing processes, systems, and structures to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements.
  2. Efficiency and Effectiveness: Support and lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and align processes with Infor’s strategic goals.
  3. Strategic Roadmaps: Develop and communicate actionable transformation roadmaps aligned with organizational objectives, driving continuous improvement.
  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with teams across Sales, Delivery, Operations, Product, Legal and peers to ensure seamless integration of transformation initiatives with bid management processes and tools.
  5. Knowledge Sharing: Address knowledge gaps and provide proactive communication to ensure seamless adoption of strategic initiatives across teams and stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement

  1. Simplification and Standardization: Drive the simplification and standardization of bid processes and tools to improve efficiency and consistency.
  2. Stakeholder Feedback: Actively gather and leverage feedback from stakeholders to identify gaps and opportunities for enhancement.
  3. Enablement Programs: Facilitate training and enablement programs to educate employees on bid processes, tools, and design principles.
  4. Operational Efficiency: Implement streamlined processes and frameworks to achieve operational efficiency and consistent outcomes.

Expectations

  • Drive high-quality, value-driven, and competitive submissions that align with Infor’s strategic and financial objectives.
  • Develop and implement efficient, repeatable processes to enhance bid management and risk mitigation frameworks.
  •  Act as the primary owner of the Global Work Order (GWO), driving updates, governance, and stakeholder collaboration to ensure alignment with global requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams, fostering alignment and collaboration across Sales, Delivery, Legal, and Operations.
  • Proactively identify and address knowledge gaps, ensuring teams are equipped to adopt strategic initiatives and contribute effectively to bid development.
  • Represent executive leadership vision by leading deal reviews, and making independent decisions aligned with organizational priorities.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 3–5 years of experience in Project Management, Solution Architecture, Services Sales, Solution Consulting or a similar role.
  • Prior experience in working with cross-functional teams in a global context.

Skills and Competencies:

  • In-depth understanding of sales processes and tools including scoping, estimating and bid tools, cloud architecture, work orders, etc. with a proven ability to challenge and apply best practices effectively.
  • Proven ability to manage transformation projects, from planning to execution, with measurable impact.
  • Experience in translation and localization processes, including the use of AI or automation tools.
  • Familiarity with contract review processes, including working with legal teams (e.g., MSA’s).
  • Proficiency in systems for contract and sales management such as Certinia, iCertis or similar tools is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and change management skills.

Regional Requirements:

  • Fluency in English (required); German or French language proficiency is highly preferred, proficiency in a third language is a plus.
  • An appreciation for diverse cultures and the ability to navigate cross-cultural environments effectively
  • Knowledge of local market regulations and compliance standards in the EMEA region.
