We are seeking a highly skilled Java Software Engineer to join our engineering team. As a Java Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable backend systems. You will play a critical role in shaping the architecture of our products.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs
  • Collaborate with frontend and mobile teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
  • Optimize application performance and scalability
  • Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
  • Identify and implement process improvements

 Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Software Engineer with a minimum of 3+ years of experience  
  • In-depth knowledge of modern software development methodologies (Agile, DevOps)
  • Expertise in building RESTful web applications using Java 8+ and Spring Framework
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with databases like MySQL and Postgres
  • Familiarity with caching solutions like Redis
  • Solid understanding of system design principles and architecture
  • Experience with distributed systems is a plus
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Degree in mathematics or computer science preferred

Our compensation packages are tailored to each role and candidate’s qualifications. We consider a wide range of factors, including skills, experience, training, and certifications, when determining compensation. We aim to offer competitive salaries or wages that reflect the value you bring to our team. Depending on the position, compensation may include base salary and/or hourly wages, incentives, or bonuses. 

The expected hiring range is $85,000 – $132,000. A different level in the job hierarchy may apply to a specific candidate, resulting in a different hiring range.
