As the Senior Analyst, the key areas of focus will include business analytics and report diagnostics, provide increased visibility of information and add insight into potential sources of process improvement. You will play a pivotal role in driving capability adoption (Power Apps and Power BI) consistency and data integrity by orchestrating the Project & Portfolio Management (PPM) Community of Practice (CoP). You will ensure that the Power Apps Portfolio tool and processes are maintained and will be responsible for implementing enhancements in collaboration with GSCS functions.  You will lead across functions to reduce non-value add activities, standardize PPM practices and support the GSCS PPM Maturity Roadmap. In addition to leading the PPM CoP, you may be asked to support other global teams with analytics and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reports to the Director, Project & Portfolio Management
  • Develop and lead a robust GSCS Portfolio Eco-System Process & Governance Model with Monthly & Quarterly reporting, to ensure alignment of Strategic Priorities and drive transparency and accountability to top initiatives.
  • Collaborate with our segment portfolio partners to ensure portfolio management processes holistically integrate to support the GSCS Strategy and that benchmarking and standard processes are in place.
  • Identify, establish and test new improvements in the portfolio eco-system and plan governance around it
  • New user access management, onboarding and training. Build training for new users /refresher as needed. Maintain training platform and continuously develop new tutorials
  • Preparation, tracking, and communication of monthly “lock” dates for tracking project actuals
  • Tracking monthly Data quality rules to ensure the highest level of Data Quality
  • Orchestrate PPM Community of Practice by facilitating member self-engagement with the communication of short/relevant and educational content on PPM processes/systems such teams pages for the PMO community, MS Teams, etc.
  • Be responsible for the GSCS Portfolio Playbook – identification, documentation, prioritization of the process for driving the portfolio processes.

Education:

  • A minimum of a Bachelors or equivalent university degree with a focus in Supply Chain, Business or technical field is required

Experience and Skills

Required:

  • Minimum of two (2) years of relevant business experience
  • Experience in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business, or another relevant field
  • Project management or experience supporting projects
  • Ability to effectively communicate to stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks with tight deadlines
  • Requires advanced MS Excel proficiency, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables, Data Validations list
  • Proven success in clearly and concisely communicating across all levels of the organization and across functions – in written and verbal formats; proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and strong attention to detail

Preferred:

  • In-depth knowledge and experience in project management and program management processes and tools
  • Demonstrable experience effectively working remotely with business partners, in a highly matrixed environment
  • Solid understanding of Planisware, Power BI, and Power Apps is beneficial

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$77,000- $124,200

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
