Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Systems, or equivalent preferred 
  • Certifications – Optional
    • Agile, Scrum, SDLC 
    • IIBA Certification 
    • Six Sigma, Lean Six Sigma 
  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis, process optimization, or a related role (preferably in a large, cross-functional environment) 

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $90,000.00 to $113,000.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.

What will you be doing?

World Wide Technology has an opening for a Senior Business Systems Analyst to support the Solutions Consulting & Engineering (SC&E) Strategic Initiatives & Global Operations team. This role will report directly to the Sr Manager, Business Systems and will be responsible for working closely with project teams and stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable, data-driven solutions. 

The Sr. Business Systems Analyst will architect and optimize business processes, aligning business outcomes with system capabilities. Acting as a consultative partner, they will challenge assumptions, uncover true needs, and design solutions that drive efficiency and enable growth.

This role requires a deep understanding of SC&E systems, tools, and end-to-end architecture, as well as the ability to apply methodologies such as SDLC and Agile in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical, change management, and communication skills – along with the ability to coach and mentor junior analysts, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead discovery and requirements sessions with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy. 
  • Analyze complex business processes to identify pain points, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization, automation, and measurable business value. 
  • Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements and partner with IT to design, validate, and implement scalable system solutions. 
  • Serve as a consultative partner to stakeholders, challenging assumptions, uncovering root business needs, and influencing solution direction through data and insight. 
  • Act as a subject matter expert in SC&E systems, data structures, and end-to-end architecture, ensuring alignment between business processes and system design. 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally across business units and technical teams to ensure cohesive, end-to-end solutions that support scalability and long-term growth. 
  • Contribute to the development and adoption of team standards and best practices for business analysis, documentation, and stakeholder engagement. 
  • Mentor and coach junior analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and consistent delivery quality across projects. 
  • Support change management and adoption efforts by partnering with stakeholders to communicate impacts, facilitate training, and monitor post-implementation success. 
  • Leverage data and metrics to assess the effectiveness of solutions and identify opportunities for ongoing optimization and process improvement. 
  • Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and roles in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while maintaining focus on quality, outcomes, and stakeholder alignment.
