Position: Senior Case Reviewer
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university; experience in background investigations and knowledge of the background investigation process to include thorough understanding of Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 704 requirements; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Supervisory experience is desirable
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Case Reviewer on a Personnel Security Investigative Project for a U.S. Government Client
- High reasoning skills, including ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in oral, written, diagram, or schedule form.
- Intermediate math skills, including ability to calculate figures and amounts
- High language skills, including ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to present information in an effective manner to senior management.
- High computer skills and ability to work in a MS Windows based operating environment, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Internet and E-mail.
- Must be U.S. citizen and able to successfully obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervises Case Reviewers in the performance of assigned tasks and ensures established standards are achieved.
- Provides input and recommendations to the Project Manager on employee performance reviews.
- Provides input and recommendations on corrective action to the Project Manager concerning employee performance problems.
- Performs second and third level quality review on Report of Investigations prior to submission to on-site Government representative.
- Provides training and guidance to investigators on investigative and formatting requirements.
- Monitors and prioritizes pending cases to ensure compliance with delivery due dates.
- Performs quality checks and ensures necessary actions are taken to complete cases on time.
- Reviews comments made by Case Reviewers on Investigator Quality Performance remarks.
- Other duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday through Friday from 9 am to 6 pm, however, some extended or weekend hours may be required. The position does not require regular travel.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.
